Privacy policy
The short version: we ask for your email address, and very little else. We use it to sign you in, deliver what you bought or downloaded, and tell you when a guide you asked about is ready. We don't sell it, we don't show ads, and we don't use tracking cookies.
Who we are
SkillNugget (skillnugget.com) publishes short courses and PDF guides. In this policy, "we" means SkillNugget, and "you" means anyone who visits the site or uses it.
What we collect, and why

We never see or store your card details.
Payments
Purchases are handled by Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the seller of record. When you buy a guide, you pay on Polar's checkout page, and Polar collects what it needs to take the payment, charge the right tax and send your receipt, under its own privacy policy. Polar tells us that a payment went through, for which guide and from which email address, so we can add the guide to your library.
Emails we send
- Sign-in links you ask for, and a link to your library after a purchase.
- For "Notify me": one confirmation, then one email when the guide is ready.
We don't send newsletters or offers unless you have asked for them. Every waitlist email has a link that removes you in one click.
Cookies and storage in your browser
- A session cookie (named
app_skillnugget), set when you open a page with a form (such as "Notify me" or "Sign in"). It keeps forms secure and remembers short messages between pages. It ends when you close the browser. - A sign-in cookie (named
sn_auth), set only when you sign in, so you stay signed in for up to 30 days. Signing out removes it. - Your light or dark theme choice, stored in your own browser (
sn-theme). It never leaves your device.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't use any analytics service at the moment. If we add one, we will update this page first.
Other services the site uses
- Our hosting provider runs the site and its email, and keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.
- Google Fonts provides the site's typefaces, so your browser asks Google's servers for them, and Google receives your IP address when it does.
- Google Search Console tells us how the site appears in Google search, as totals and never about you personally.
These providers may process data outside your country.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal information.
- Share your email address with advertisers or other companies, except Polar for payments.
- Store passwords. There are none: you sign in with a link.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it. You can also ask for a copy to take elsewhere. To leave a waitlist, use the link in any waitlist email. For anything else, write to us at no-reply@cr43dv6zq7.com from the email address in question, and we will answer within 30 days. If you think we got something wrong, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
SkillNugget is for adults. Some guides help parents and grandparents, but the site is not meant for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we use your information, we update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect.
