The kitchen

Good questions
Questions people ask
Is this based on the current rules?
Yes. It follows the 2026 USA Pickleball Official Rulebook, including the serve rules, the kitchen and the provisional rally scoring option, in plain English.
How does pickleball scoring work?
In traditional doubles scoring, only the serving team scores, each team gets two servers per turn (except at the start), and the score is called as three numbers. Chapter 4 plays out a real game rally by rally, and the scoring trainer on this page lets you practice.
Why does a game start at 0–0–2?
Because the first serving team only gets one server, that server is treated as the second server. After the first side out, both partners serve.
Do I need to buy expensive gear?
No. Chapter 2 explains how to choose a first paddle, balls and shoes without overspending. Many courts have loaner paddles.
What exactly do I download?
Five files: the 56-page book (PDF), the court-side card (PDF), 24 drill cards (PDF), the surprise (PDF), and a free sample you can share.
Can I print it?
Yes. Everything prints on US Letter or A4. Print the printables as often as you like for your household.
Can I see some of it first?
Yes. Download the free sample (the welcome, the court, the rules and scoring chapters), and try the scoring trainer on this page.
How do I get the files after paying?
Right after checkout you come back to your SkillNugget library, and we email you a sign-in link. Download the files there any time, on any device. No password needed.
